@Jim
Go to Groowe Options, then select "Preferences" tab and uncheck the option "Automatically select toolbar for active site, if exists".

Google is not in GrooweFiles since it is bundled, but by downloading Google from http://www.groowe.com/toolbars/preview/1 you will get Google.xml in GrooweFiles and that file will override bundled Google toolbar, so then you can change and edit Google toolbar if you like.

Regards,
Milos

Great tool, thanks! Question, however, Every time I go to www.google.com, it automatically changes the default search engine to "Google" How can I stop/change that? I use "Blackle" instead of "Google" (www.blackle.com), which is a customized version of google and uses www.google.com. I want the default search engine selected to remain "Blackle". I noticed that Google.xml is not in GrooweFiles where I could change the , it seems to be "built-in" or something.

Hi,

I have a request on the other side of the search, where you put in a word or phrase and hit Ctrl-F and Ctrl-G.

Why only one word at a time. Why not two or three or four boxes and you click the one you are searching. So often I am changing the words back and forth to search on.

I ask you here, although I could put it on the Mozillazine forums, simply because you are in that balliwick of search helps.

Shalom,
Steven

Oh, you can. Web toolbar designer is design for users, not for developers, it is a graphics user interface, just visit http://www.groowe.com/toolbars/new_toolbar and try it.

Happy me,now it works. :)
At the moment I'm testing the new JonDo Fox portable and got the developers from JonDonym(ex.JAP) https://www.jondos.de/en/ to install into the *offical profile*the Groowe Search toolbar, cause I'm shure - your toolbar is the best on the market - but could get even better,as described above. :)
And no - I'm no developer,only a simple user,so I can't say anything about designing toolbars.I only can test a soft,if it's ergonomic or not.
But liked the old Version of the install page much more. :(

If ther's any time - maybe you can help Rolf Wendolsky
https://www.jondos.de/en/people
with his work on the JonDo Fox.You find his mail inside of JAP.
an answer will need some time at the moment, cause Rolf got an influenca.

Good luck for you and thank's for your work.It helped me already for a long time ever

Hello,

Thank you for the first comment on this blog. :)

Sorry, there was an error, you can now install toolbars from http://www.groowe.com/toolbars/

Of course, ability to search toolbars by keyword is on the TO DO list and will be implemented soon.

Do you like the preview feature and have you tried toolbar designer?

At the moment nothing works - since you changed the layout of the page, can't add any toolbar at http://www.groowe.com/toolbars/
and that's really bad!
One or two years ago I asked you already for a change in the way to config the bar - instead of sipmpel *search with..*it would be much better to make it possible to search within categories as *search* - like google and so on,*knowledge*like Wikipedia and so on,*shopping*Amazon\ebay and so on,download - and so on.
Would be much more confortable.
